Sometimes called “The Gibraltar of the Pacific”, this coastal city is known for Morro Rock, a volcanic peak that sits between the bay and the ocean. The rock serves as a remarkable backdrop when eating at one of the many restaurants along the embarcadero, while strolling the beach, or even cruising up or down Highway 1.
Morro Bay offers a wide array of outdoor activities including hiking, kayaking, deep sea fishing, horseback riding on the beach, and more. This fishing community is well known for Giovanni’s Fish Market as a great source for freshly caught fish, salt water taffy, and of course the iconic rock. Demographics and History can be found here.
